Sigtuna - where it all begins

Sigtuna is Sweden's first town, established by courageous and forward-looking people. They created a meeting place and gathered people from all around the world. While in Sigtuna, do not miss having a traditional fika at Tant Brun. The experience you will get there by eating home baked fikabröd, in an environment which reminds you of your old-aunts country side house, while served by waitresses wearing traditional Swedish gowns, is unreplaceable.

 

Also, the tourist information office and souvenir shop is located in a house which looks like in children-books or fairy tales but which was actually a place where secret meetings were held during the world war II.
